In the past few years i've been asked by the Dutch Filmacademy to teach, consult and aid their first year students in workshops about the combination of the visual effects- and art departments.

In 2011 this workshop lasted for a couple of days and in 2012 it lasted for a small week.
This year however, students had almost a full month to complete two assignments.
The fist one was about creating a high end 2D styleframe or movie still inspired by the movie 'Prometheus' by director Ridley Scott. The second assignment was to create a short movie inspired by one of his other movies, 'Blade Runner'.
All sudents had to work on these assignments without a budget and with very little equipment in groups of up to 7 people, making teamwork the most essential part of the workshop.
