"Zillion" vividly unfolds the biographical journey of Frank Verstraeten, a brilliant computer savant fueled by entrepreneurial instincts, a magnetic attraction to the vibrant nightlife, and an unyielding urge to prove himself. Set against the backdrop of Antwerp in the 1990s, this compelling tale follows Frank's evolution from a being a computer dealer to becoming the central figure in the pulsating world of club culture. Culminating in the creation of his groundbreaking nightclub, the futuristic mega club known as "Zillion."

Planet X invited me to join their team as the Art Director responsible for graphic effects in "Zillion," including the design of some of the titles.
Our goal was to recreate the iconic graphic style of the late 90s, which was widely used in the clubbing and nightlife scenes. As the digital age was rapidly evolving, people were eager to showcase the new possibilities with flashy 3D graphics, lens flares, drop shadows, and gold and silver textured titles.
We aimed to strike a sweet balance between this flamboyant 90s style and a slightly more modern cinematic feel.
